  139. This is "try before you buy" software.  This means that
  140. unregistered copies of Chaosoft products may be used only for a
  141. limited time, with the sole purpose of determining wherether they
  142. suit your needs.  To continue using the software beyong the
  143. evaluation period, an appropriate license for continued use must
  144. be purchased.
  145.  
  146. Registered (licensed) versions of Chaosoft products are
  147. distributed by and available from Pik a Program, Inc.  Please *do
  148. not* send your orders to Chaosoft, since Chaosoft no longer
  149. processes the orders directly.  *All* orders for the software, as
  150. well as questions about the status of shipment of your order,
  151. refunds, registration options, volume discounts and site licenses,
  152. must be directed to Pik a Program, Inc., *not* to Chaosoft.

  182. 'per-computer' basis.  This means that you may purchase a single
  183. individual license and install the software on more than one
  184. computer (for example, a desktop system and a notebook), provided
  185. that there is *no possibility* to use the Registered Copy by
  186. anybody else.

  188. On the other hand, if more than one person uses a computer, every
  189. such user must purchase an individual license for continued use of
  190. the software, or a site license for the total number of users
  191. accessing the computer must be obtained.

  193. If you are ordering the software for use by multiple users in a
  194. network, you don't need to include every computer attached to the
  195. network in your license, but you must include every computer on
  196. which the Program is installed or used, regardless of whether the
  197. user of the computer happens to know that the Program is in use on
  198. their system.  If you have single computers which allow multiple
  199. users to use the Program simultaneously, you must count each
  200. keyboard or terminal separately when determining how many computers
  201. are using the Program.

  224. Manager dramatically.  Instead of replacing File Manager, FM StepUp
  225. simply makes it better.  When you install FMStepUp, additional
  226. commands are added to the menus of the File Manager, and existing

  328. File Manager Guard (or, for short, FM Guard) is a powerful utility
  329. for Microsoft(R) Windows(tm) 3.1, 3.11, and Windows for Workgroups
  330. (tm) 3.11, that allows one to selectively disable features and
  331. capabilities of File Manager and some other Windows components.

  333. You will find FM Guard indispensable if you share you computer
  334. with someone else and you don't want the other one to mess your
  335. system up (even if s/he is someone very special!). Or, if you
  336. allow your kids to play games on your system from time to time,
  337. and want to be sure that everything will be OK when they finish
  338. them. Or if you are a network administrator and your users give you
  339. a headache messing the files up all the time. Or ...

  341. After installing FM Guard, you will be able to prevent user(s)
  342. from performing any or all commands of File Manager, from running
  343. undesirable programs, browsing hidden files, changing file

  346. 'Save As', etc.). It even provides you with the possibility to
